Science accepts physical evidence as the basis of everything, while religions such as Christianity accepts the Bible as the basis of everything. However, science requires a coherent string of logic to be accepted by the individual scientist as truth, while religion requires nothing more than feelings or "zandperlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01700239961953729095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19470423.post-86852308705245143022006-11-20T08:46:00.000-06:002006-11-20T08:46:00.000-06:00DR, it doesn't look like you are misunderstanding ...DR, it doesn't look like you are misunderstanding at all. My point is simply that the belief that the universe was created five or six thousand years ago by some invisible sky daddy, and that man co-existed with dinosaurs belongs in Sunday school class, not the science classroom. Fossil evidence and now DNA evidence point to a much different origin. The keyword here is "evidence."Candacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10488301409338243686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19470423.post-65462044467505768162006-11-20T00:05:00.000-06:002006-11-20T00:05:00.000-06:00Maybe I don't understand the true definition of "i...Maybe I don't understand the true definition of "intelligent design" or "creationism". Parents and churches are perfectly capable of teaching it to their children. The conspiracy is this:maybe they are hoping that nonchristian kids will learn creationism and become christians, there by using the schools to spread the word of god, and reaching into the hearts and homes of families who may not want Rowan Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09972658986962895918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19470423.post-40802723993574179652006-11-19T22:15:00.000-06:002006-11-19T22:15:00.000-06:00Hoss, y'all get pasteurized? The only real difference is that science is seen as being more logical (often because theories have been proved or are accepted as truth). It is more natural for someone to accept theories developed by man as opposed to the supposed absolute truths of a supreme being which may or may not exist- especially when there are דָּנִיֵּאלhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15183012259425484889noreply@blogger.com
